How It Started

Hello, my name is Kate and I am the owner and founder of Ascending Alignment. You might be wondering how I got here. What makes what I do special? Well, before I can answer that question, let me tell you a little bit about how I got to this point in my life.

I have been seeing spirit, or ghosts, since I was a little girl. As a child, I really thought that everyone else could also see them, as it was so normal for me. I would know things before they would happen - things there is no way I could possibly know. My mom actually has some of the best stories of me ruining some pretty great surprises because of this “knowing”. Turns out, it's part of what they call my psychic abilities. Intuition is what I like to call it. I believe that everyone has the ability to do everything that I do - but we can get to that later.

So, my childhood is filled with memories of seeing spirit, knowing things before they happen, and like any child, I outgrew my skills. Not because they went away, but because as we get older, we develop the logical part of our brain and obviously, there isn't much logic to seeing ghosts and having a knack for knowing when things are going to happen. So, like anything else, it faded. Fast forward to my 20’s and my gifts began to return. Different than I remember them, but nevertheless, they returned.

The Awakening

I thought I was going insane. I could physically feel the energy of the people next to me as I was driving. Each car I passed would bring a new emotion or feeling. Being around anyone seemed to bring me more anxiety as time went on. I had heard and known about the term “empathic”, but this was on a whole new level. I would have conversations with friends and even strangers and somehow, these profound words and knowledge would come out of my mouth at exactly the right time, giving them the reassurance, direction, or the clarity they needed. The only problem was, I had no idea what I had said (this is when the channeling began). Everything began to get very overwhelming, and extremely confusing.

I called a close friend, someone who is like a mentor to me, and I told her what was happening. I told her there was something actually wrong with me and I probably needed some extensive help. She laughed and she said to me, “It's about time you woke up.” My first thought was that she must be crazier than I was. But as she continued to speak to me, things started making sense.

She began to talk about things I had felt, seen, and heard. You know, those things you have never told anyone? Yeah, she knew all of it. She started explaining energy and awakening and remembering my path and my purpose.

I was still overwhelmed, and to be honest, filled with a ton of disbelief in what she was talking about. But, she encouraged me to reach out to another person, a mutual friend, and ask her my questions. So I did.

And that's when everything changed.

She taught me how to physically feel my own energy… like it was tangible. And after some practice, it is. She taught me to ground and cleanse my energy. How to manipulate it and transmute it. If I hadn’t experienced it for myself, I don’t know that I would have believed it.

From that point on, I began to research, to learn, to open myself up to the possibilities of what this all could be. What it could mean. And how it could be beneficial and impactful. I became aware of the spaces inside me that called for nurturing, for healing, awareness, and acceptance. I began therapy to work through past trauma, I had a psychic on speed dial, and I met other people who were on the same journey as me.

The Here and Now

As time went on, I was continuously presented with opportunities to share my abilities with others. Some for their healing, others so they could learn just as I did. And now, I own a business fully centered around healing and awakening.

It’s been a journey to get here, but I am here. And I am ready for the next phase.

Using mediumship, my psychic abilities, intuition, my own personal experiences, and the direction of Spirit, my goal is to assist you and walk along side you in your journey.
